ALAN JACKSON

PASTOR

Pastor Alan Jackson grew up in Evansville, Indiana, where he was saved at the age of twenty-six. Realizing God was calling him into full-time missions at the age of thirty-one, he attended Tennessee Temple University in 1998, where he studied Bible with an emphasis in missions. After receiving his degree (B.A.) from Tennessee Temple, he moved back to Evansville, Indiana in 2001 to begin the deputation process of collecting support to begin his life as a full-time missionary in Honduras. His wife, Becky, grew up in Evansville, Indiana. They were high school sweethearts before they married in 1987. They have three children, Joshua, Jacob, and Jennifer, and five grandchildren, Joseph, Aiden, Decklen, Wesley, and Bentley.

After 2 years of deputation, Pastor Jackson and his family relocated to Costa Rica in 2003 to attend language school. Upon their completion of language school, Pastor Jackson and his family moved to Honduras in 2004 as full-time missionaries, where he and his wife faithfully served for over 17 years. There the Lord gave Pastor Jackson an active ministry of preaching, counseling, teaching Bible institute, ordaining pastors, reaching out to the community, and encouraging his church family. Pastor and his wife relocated to Evansville once more in June of 2019, when Alan accepted the call as Pastor at Heritage Baptist Church.

Pastor Jackson serves Heritage Baptist Church with a background full of diverse experience and with proven faithfulness.
